DON Passenger Car expands its product portfolio with LCV applications
Leverkusen, 26. After TMD Friction introduced Don for car applications last year, DON brake components are soon also available for the growing sector of light commercial vehicles.
With 83 new references, TMD Friction has covered a majority of the market for light commercial vehicles. The attractive price/performance ratio of the DON brake pads can increase vehicle efficiency even further, particularly for vans that are designed for intensive use over short trips, such as VW T5, Ford Transit or Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, as well as the VW Crafter series. The transporter range is also 100% copper-free and has been tested and certified beyond the ECE-R90 standard.

“We at TMD Friction are familiar with the market flows and want to offer an option alongside Textar, which is suited to the current market value and meets market demands. We have expanded our range of DON brake pads in order to provide our customers with an even greater number of alternatives in this sector.
That is because the vehicle fleet is constantly getting older, even in the light commercial vehicles sector, and customers are forever demanding reasonably priced and yet high-performance spare parts. This is precisely where we want to support Textar, so that they can retain their customers without having to compromise on the famous quality and service of TMD Friction,” explained Michael Dunkel, Director of Strategic Projects at TMD Friction.
You can find suitable applications in the “Brakebook” online catalogue (www.don.brakebook.com) by specifying the vehicle-type and different technical parameters.
