New in Textar range: ABS sensor checker
Luxembourg, Leverkusen, December 2016. As a signal transmitter for brake pressure regulation the ABS sensor is an important part of the anti-lock braking system. With the help of a sensor ring the ABS sensor measures the wheel speed which is very important in terms of driving safety. Hence, in case of a defect fast fault diagnosis is advisable.
Textar now offers a practical ABS Sensor Checker for brake discs with a magnetic ABS sensor. Thus an easy and cost-efficient testing of the magnetic segments of the sensor is possible without complex diagnostic system. The testing device visualizes the magnetic fields and makes it easy to identify a defective ABS sensor ring.
For the implementation and for a limited period Textar attaches a free-of charge testing device to its brake discs with magnetic ABS sensor ring.
