Textar enhances Brakebook with new drawings
Luxembourg, Leverkusen, February 2017. Premium brakes brand, Textar, has enhanced its customers’ experience with the introduction of more than 900 new drawings in TMD Friction’s exclusive online catalogue system, Brakebook.
Independent workshops and automotive parts traders can now view products more clearly to ensure their choice is accurate and matches their exact requirements.
Brakebook’s cutting-edge technology allows customers from any location to search specifically for Textar products, OE numbers and reference numbers, as well as product properties such as width, length, thickness and much more. The corresponding Textar product appears immediately, along with a product image.
As part of an ongoing programme to equip the entire product range within Brakebook with more detailed drawings of brake pads, more than 900 have been optimised, 90% of the total sales volume and 55% of the whole product range. Planned completion of the transition is quarter three in 2017.
Michael Dunkel, Director Category Management PC Pads, said: “We have been working hard to complete this project as quickly and efficiently as possible to ensure we offer our customers an even better service. Both products and accessories can be easily accessed over Brakebook and our customers can view a better picture of our products before receiving them.”
Brakebook is an exclusive online catalogue system by TMD Friction and offers targeted identification of brake parts for customers. Registered customers can create their own catalogue excerpts next to the print catalogue on brakebook.com. Brakebook is also available for free as an app for Android and iOS.
